We’ve featured the Cabernet Sauvignon from Rustenberg before, but this month it’s made it into our Coupon Clipper at $14.99 (down from $19.99)!

The Rustenberg estate was founded about 250 years ago, changing ownership a few times, and winding up under its current stewardship by the Barlow family. The grounds at Rustenberg aren’t strictly dedicated to vines, but they’re also home to livestock, bee hives, and a plant nursery aside from other natural endeavours.

The vines are all found in the foothills of the Simonsberg Mountains where the grapes are harvested by hand. Their Cabernet Sauvignon is blended from multiple parcels and aged in French oak barriques for 15 months.

Bordeaux leaning in style, the wine is marked by deep red fruits, earth, and tobacco.
